Luckily, video game music has much improved since the days of repetitive bleeping and blooping midi files. Nowadays original rock, symphonic and electronic music content is included in most new releases,sometimes with complex and elegant event-based tracks and tempo changes. Not every game, however, has a music budget like the Halos or Call of Duty’s of the world and terrible gaming music can be worse than no music at all. So why put up with it?
