Trees’ Collectibles Pt.9

So after a much deserved week off I’m back with some new collectibles. This week’s collectibles are pretty straight forward. They are my Street Fighter action figures. NO! THEY’RE NOT DOLLS!!! They are ass kicking manly action figures!!! (….that I sometimes take out and play with.)
So we have Bison, Ryu, and Sagat (Series 1) put out by SOTA Toys. The website still has a bunch of Street Fighter items but as far as I can see these original Series 1 figures are no longer available.
All the figures are really detailed with 20+ points of articulation. I mean each of Sagat’s and Ryu’s toes can move. It’s ridiculous. As you can see though, the Ryu figure is by far the least attractive of the three. For some reason the Ryu and from what I have seen, the Ken figure also, are pulling stupid faces. It’s odd that they would put the least amount of effort into getting the two main stars faces accurate.
This Sagat figure was the figure that I had to have. Out of all the Street Fighter toys available at the time, this was by far the most detailed and bad-ass version of Sagat out there. Don’t get me wrong though, the Bison isn’t to shabby either. You can tell that this version of Sagat was definitely inspired by the Alpha series model of Sagat.

If your interested, as usual, most of this crap can be found on eBay on the cheap. So I don’t know if it was worth the wait but if it wasn’t…tough! You’ll take it and like it! Till next week…maybe….latah!
